TN nuke noise Protestors to hold rally from Madurai

Extending support to locals agitating against Koodankulam Nuclear Power project, about 100 anti-nuclear activists will embark on a yatra from Madurai to the site Thursday.
The activists, under the aegis of Chennai Solidarity Group for Koodankulam Struggle would start their journey from Madurai on November 10 and stop at towns and villages en route to Koodankulam to explain"the terrible environmental and health effects of nuclear energy."

Congress has lost faith in Madhya Pradesh Lokayukta: Digvijay

Against the backdrop of a court giving 'clean chit'  to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the 'dumper'  scam following a Lokayukta report, Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh today said his party had lost faith in the state Lokayukta, P P Naolekar.
Referring to a closure report filed by the Special Police Establishment, which works under the Lokayukta, last December absolving the CM of the charge of misusing his official position, Singh said,"there was enough evidence against Chouhan for more details....
