Congress leaders Shankarsinh Vaghela and Arjun Modhvaida today ended their fast, which was a counter to the one observed by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
They ended their fast by consuming lemon juice offered by children.
The Congress leaders were on a fast to counter Modi's three-day long fast under'Sadbhavna Mission'for peace, unity and harmony in the state. Modi broke his fast yesterday.
The Congress leaders, who dubbed Modi's fast as"five star"due to its air-conditioned ambience, observed their fast on a footpath in front of the Sabarmati Ashram.
