In the wake of a newspaper report stating that Tamil Nadu chief ministers had not declared their assets since long, Chief Minister Jayalalithaa today said she possesses assets worth over Rs 51 crore and has not purchased any new property since coming to power three months ago.
Jayalalithaa told the state assembly that she had mentioned the details of her assets in the affidavit filed by her during the April 13 elections and"therefore, there is no need for more details....
